max dimensions?
how much power going to the woofers?
music you listen to?
your goals with the enclosure? (SQ, SQL, SPL)

lol I sound like such an idiot, but no idea. really bassy stuff, so rap, techno. and whichever gives me more bass.

Sealed box, 16.5"h x 30"w x 16.5"d with 1" spacing (if overall diameter is 12.5") and wood - 0.388 total for displacement is 1.5095 cubic feet each. I've heard two X 12's in an alpine box which is around 40hz powered by a kicker 2400 and it moved a lot of air in a cavy trunk, it had no SQ though. I heard one 12 in the same box in a single cab truck upfiring and it was horrible it wasn't loud or low or anything. I think you should see if your trunk opening can fit 16.5 x 30 and put a piece in sealing the subs off from the trunk leaving an inch or two to put the seat up. If you're using a ported box try a 2" port and use 33"w. I don't know if you can do a 2" port though it sounds too small. Does anyone know if you can just use more vent? Have it fireing into the car and tune at 35hz.

I plan on having it firing to the rear since when I had one sub in a sealed box it sounded amazing for 1 sub. how would I tune it?? or does that enclosure design tune it?

Generally a sealed box with 1.5 cf3 each will make the woofer loudest around 30hz, 35hz at 1 cf3. For a ported box, you need so-many square inches of port area that is so-many inches long, for two 12's, 72-80sq.in with a port that is 20" long. You will almost always have to bend the port. I don't know if you can half the sq.in and make it 40" long, isn't that the same thing, or does there need to be so-much air moving at one time and it can only travel 20"?
