Can 4ohm DVC sub be hooked up into 4 ohms?

can u get a 4 ohm load with 6 ohm coils???
unless u have 3 of them, then u could
....
to do that it would look somethin like this
====SUB1=======SUB2======SUB3
+ - - + + - - + + - - +
|-----| |----| |----|
|-----| |-----| |----|
that alone would give u 3 separate 12 ohm loads, to drop that down to a single 4 ohm load now u would wire the subs together like this
===SUB1===== SUB2=======SUB3
+ - - + + - - + + - - +

|-----| |-----| |----|
|----------| |---------|
|---------| |---------|

No, you get a 3 ohm load and I have yet to see any amp that will run a 4 ohm mono load reliably but has a problem with a 3 ohm mono load.
Why do you think dual 6ohm and 12ohm woofers disappeared? People figured out that 3 8 ohm woofers in parallel (2.67 ohms on paper) works just as reliably and you don't "have to" buy 3 of them to get a reasonable impedence. [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img]
