The picture isn't working.
But based on your description - the red wire needs a direct connection to the battery (with a fuse) and the black needs a connection to ground (any bar metal part of the car). The blue remote wire attaches to the remote wire of the head unit.

That worked.
Do you have a good ground connection and good positive connection? Use a multimeter to check the connection.
What exaclty does the amp do . . . anything? lights come on, low level hiss in the speakers?

no lights come on , it draws current as soon as i connect the power and there is definately power there, i just dont know about that connector one wire is red with a black stripe and one is blue and then there is a spot for a third wire but it is missing, the amp came in my car when i bought it i am just trying to see if it works , and the fuse is good , also i opened it up and all the components "look" ok
I'm dating myself with this one...it has two remote leads. But you have to be different sources. For example, switched power from the ignition and a remote lead from the deck. It has to see a current differental between the two sources. It was the stupidest idea poineer ever have. It stumped me too, a few years back.

I don't recall ever having to connect them to different sources - I used to just hit both with the remote lead from the deck.
The red wire is technically supposed to go to ignition and it's purpose, or so I recall, was to help avoid turn on noise.

looks like i have bigger problems , i tied the two remote wires together right to the positive and then connected the ground this was on a battery, it is drawing current maybe charging caps but the led doesnt come on . any ideas , the fuse is good as well

James, dated? Could it be true? The red line is in fact a ignition line like both you and Paul thought. If this amp is still not powering up with all the lines seeing 12 volts and a good solid ground, then the amprifier (chinglish) be fubar.
