Nothing wrong with it at all, it is basically the same thing as dumping it into the second set of + / - inputs on certain amps, like say a Rockford or with the Lightning Audio cap distribution block. In all cases, it is a good idea to throw some kind of breaker or fuse into the circuit.

Now since that is tough, the shortest run possible or it is usless having a cap.
The only thing that should be between the cap and amp is the small piece of wire used to hook it up.

I recall Ralph Bennidetti's install in the blue GMC, he made buss bars from the two Phoenix Gold amp terminals directly to the caps, then to the power wire.. Hit like a freight train!

why are you aseing a 1f cap
