CD Changers
Can someone list off some CD changers that can be added to a deck via RCA or digital coax? Of course the changer would have to come with some kind of wired controller. Most of the changers I have seen are the FM modulator type.

I guess I need to clarify a bit further. I have a Nak CD45Z, which has CD changer controls. However, the changers from Nak are hella expensive. The CD45Z has Aux RCA inputs. On top of that, in the near future, I am planning on getting a Rockford Fosgate 8250. It has no control for CD changer, but has Aux RCA inputs and a coax digital input. Any help would be appreciated.

Any Alpine 59** changer or M series can have RCA outputs easy enough. Old 59 series changers already have the RCAs separate - for the rest, Alpine offers an adaptor. Some have digital outputs as well.
Controllers:
Built in preamp:
5954
1203
1301
1656
FM Controllers:
5953
1201
and whatever else they offered for the M series.
Also, IIRC, Sony changers had up until recently separate RCA outs as well.

I believe some of the Sony 10 disc changers had RCA outputs; I just gave one away that definitely had them.
It "WAS" FM modulated ... but sound went from the modulator to the CD changer via RCAs ... the 'controller' plugged directly into the changer as well.

If I bought, let's say an el cheapo CD changer with an FM modulator, can I cut into the cable just before the DIN plug and splice in RCA connectors? It would void warranty for sure, but it is a solution, no? Boxing Day is coming up and I have a feeling there might be some really good deals on CD changers.
