Hello folks, i just needed a little help from the experts here at CCA.

Im using a Panasonic cq-df401u deck.
Ipod Touch.

My problem is that there is an input for a cd disc changer on the back of the deck however i was hoping to be able to play my ipod by plugging a cord from the ipod headphone jack to this input.

However... it did not work, i was hoping some people here might have some insight?

As a general rule, most changer inputs require a trigger of some sort to activate the inputs. I'm guessing you need a specific adapter for that function.
