couple of questions about alternators, batterys and the big three

im currently upgrading my system to much bigger and better things, and i need to know a couple of things, my system is going to be doing around 600 to 700 rms. im driving a stock 93 civic,

when did you guys start to think about getting a new alternator or battery and doing the big three?

is the dimming of the lights the only way to tell your low on power?

should i worry about power issues as i havent got everything yet?

I would take a reactive approach, as in try it before upgrading battery and alternator.

I don't think you will need to change anything with only 700watts.

However I do recommend doing the big 3 right off the bat.

I'll third the big three, and run power and ground for the HU. I'm running an 85 amp alt (stock), an Odyssey PC925L Battery and mines fine with ~1000 watts rms, unless I'm at idle with it cranked.

If you want to keep an eye on things get a cheap voltage gauge from princess auto. You'll see the needle moving long before you see the lights dimming.
