I used a 5 minute Epoxy from crappy tire. Its the type that comes in two side by side tubes. It formed a solid patch. I can hardly see the crack on the front side of the cone. Now I have to throw it in the car and hear how it sounds (and see if it will hold up).

 

 

Pounding again, clean and low! All rattles and buzz gone. Thanks all.
