Hi guys. it's been a while since I last posted, and I finally invested in a new car. It's a 1999 Tiburon SE. Their currently is a after market deck in there, but I have no idea on how to get that deck out, and put mine in. Do I need to remove that part of the dash to get it? Anyone had experience with this model tiburon and deck install? Any help would be appreciative.

 

thats a huge job involves removing the windshield... then the sun roof LOL

No really I have no idea

1. Remove the two phillips screws located behind the ashtray.
2. Remove the two phillips screws in the underside of the trim at the top of the instrument cluster.
3. Tilt the steering wheel to the lowest position.
4. Turn the ignition off and keep it off (or in the accessory position) until the facia is completely reinstalled. Unplugging the passenger air bag telltale with the key on will cause the air bag malfunction lamp to come on.
5. Gently unsnap the facia trim from the dash, unplugging the connectors, and remove the facia.
6. The radio attachments should now be visible.
7. Installation is simply the reverse of removal.
