Deck Install - Must be easier than what I think...

Deck Install - Must be easier than what I think...

Well, car got broken into a month or two ago, got a new deck...thought install would be easy!

Not exactly sure how to hook it up...heres the connections I see where my deck used to be...I see the black remote antenna, and 2 wire harnesses.





Note: Ignore the black box thing at the very very back behind where the deck would go, thats for my glow kit :P

And heres what my deck looks like behind..



1998 Honda civic SI
Kenwood KGC-MP538U deck

You need a honda radio wire harness which then you would connect to the wires coming out of the back of the deck. Then the connector would connect to the factory connector in the dash.

Ah, that seems to make life much simpler. Do most audio shops carry those?

Man I know. It either that or trying to find out which each wire is a splicing them together. Way harder. lol
