deck installation problems

Question

i got my deck installed in my '76 firebird...problem is that when i turn on the headlights, off goes the deck...i was told it's grounding it but i don't know why...any suggestions? [img]graemlins/dunno.gif[/img]

you have your ground on the deck hooked up to your illumination wire. do a new ground.

get a test light or a volt meter and hook it to your ground that you have in the car and the body of the car and if nothing happens then pull your head lights on and see if anything happens.
I think the first guy was right.
