i realize this isn't car audio related but you guys are inside cars installing all the time so you may know what i'm looking for well here goes :

anyone know of a car make/model that has the sliding door lock inside the car. (instead of the standard one that on my car is up by the top of the door (by the window) that goes up and down, i'm looking for one that goes in the interior panel and slides either up and down or front to back, if you know what i mean. i'm looking for something specifically that has a satin aluminum finish to it. it has to be seperate from the actual door handle though.

if you look at the interior pic, how the door lock is in the door panel rather than at the top of the door.
but as i said this is the wrong type because of the fact that the handle is attached to the lock.

cool thanks for the reply... i'll have to go down and check them out at the gm dealership... gonna check out some wrecking yards for some chryslers also... i heard a rumour that they were like that also. i'm just sick of pinching my arm on my door locks
