effectiveness and cost of sound deading material

HI guys. I hear lots of people using Dynamat, and B-quiet etc. Is that stuff really effective for SQ cars, how about SPL cars? if it honestly helps the SQ, I want some. So how much would I need to do an effective job, and how much would that cost to do? thanks guys

The more the better. But to be cost effective you really have to analyse the car, the types of noise you are trying to eliminate, and then decide what product where will give you what you are looking for. In my cars I use a little bit of everything.
