Yeah, even if I had boatloads of dough to drop into my car, I would still need to be involved in everything... I'm going to attempt this install by myself even though I have no experience with cars, and the only wiring experience I have is wiring LED's to flash in synch with the audio from my TV. But that turned out awesome. So I can't see any way this could possible go wrong.

Can't really guess on your alt until you find out what the regular draw from the vehicle itself is then see what amps you have left.

I had an all Hertz setup in my 2001 Audi S8 and it sounded amazing! EP5 5 channel amp, one 12" Hertz sub in a Hertz box pounded nicely considering the car is huge. If I had the money I'd do it all over again in my TT. Wasn't crazy expensive but with Audi you pretty much have to re-wire everything to bypass the OEM Bose system.
