Question Ford power window's

Hey fellow tec. junkies. I'm having some issues with my 91 Explorer's power windows. During this past winter one of my boys powered an back window down but it would go up. I pull it into the then desirable heated garage to fix it. Being very time limited I just got it to go up and then left it disconected.

Fast forward to this week. Being onmy holidays and getting ready for an trip to Jasper I figure I'd finish what I started many months ago. I still can't get it to go up ( even with the little blue pill LOL ). Both the master switch and the back windows move it down only. To make it go up I just reverse the main two wires going to the moter.

What gives? The wiring checks out OK. I figure the moter is dead yet it does work when given the reverse signal. I even pulled the other functioning door switch of an no change ( the other door works all the time).

Help if you can.

have you looked at the fuses and look at the relays
because the switch goes to a relay to a fuse the to the power window
go to a pick a part and look at 91 Explorer see where the wires go
i did that with my bmw
