Exclamation grounding turns the amp off? +

grounding turns the amp light off? + when it is grounded my deck says "intrrpt" (my rem wire? in the wrong place? -iv tried 2 wires off the deck.. a pink-with a round pop in mouth.. and a blue with a blade pop in mouth, both from the deck)... (when it is grounded there is still elec running through as when i re-insert the fuse to the deck... it sparks. but no red light.)

so i figured eff it, i wont ground it..(keep that red light on) anyways... still no sound comming out of the amp.. everything is hooked up right.( and i re-wired the subbs to make sure it wasnt them)
i have 2 12's bridged into this amp... (also on the bottom it says somthing:
like:
a NOTE not to ground the speakers/output to the chassis and more about saying the amp can bridge.. blah blah.. im sure if you know subbs you have seen this note. - this may have sumthing to do with the bridge i did?_makes no sence....
this is strange... why would the amps light turn off when grounded? -ill try that one thing.. switch em..(+ to -) maybe it'l reverse the current and make the ground not turn it off? i dunno?!

(i am more into music producing...and guitar tech.. so i understand things that are not grounded usually dont make to much noise... or just sound like sheeit....)

1 thing... when i had my friend origianly hook this up.. he had the power comming from the - on the batt.(so wouldnt that be commin fromt he altinator>?) i have it now on the + (as the amp says to on the bottom)... new to this ... it SEEMs simple compared to mixers & gear .. but wtf. should it be on the -? but that doesnt make sence.. the amp is powering when not grounded..

anywho... i really wanna hear my new strapping cd on 12's they got nice bass dropps.. any ideas?

Your post is kind of hard to understand, you are not sure which wire is your remote turn on lead off of the deck? What is the make/model of deck? The amp needs the main power wire, ground, and the remote turn on lead that comes off of the deck (usually blue or blue with a white stripe) which triggers the amp to turn on as soon as the deck turns on. If you use the wrong blue wire, it will probably be the power antenna output lead, and the amp will only turn on with the radio. If you have a test light, you need to test both blue wires coming off the deck to see which one keeps the test light lit up, when you switch between cd and radio. Not all decks have a power antenna out, though. Hope this helps.
