And just to mix up the pot a bit, klein rules, but when it comes to crimpers, i prefer the channel-lock version.

I get my deck back from Panasonic on Thursday or Friday so the new deck will be back installed with all those funky butt connectors (the red ones that we're shown).

For a 1 week quick fix its been working out fine, but has really shown me how crappy my stock speakers are and how badly they need replacing.

Good topic though!

I thought I'd wade in on the klein tools debate... I love klein tools, and I use klein 2000 series for my work tools. however, for crimpers, I have a cheaper pair of surplus store crimpers, because they're heavy, have a good fulcrum (anyone who uses cutting tools/pliers very much knows the importance of this, even if they don't know why) and they were 10 bucks instead of 50.

no way, they're a dedicated crimper, that's all they get used for, and all they do. I have a cheapie pair of those that I only use to cut small bolts or threaded rod, since it has the thread cutters on it and I don't care about how long it lasts.
