Question Help with Enclosed Trunk 2000 Mustang

I drive a 2000 Mustang Coupe. For bass I use 2 12 inch kenwood subs running off a sony amp rated 950W RMS at 2 ohms. The subs are in a ported box aimed backwards (man was that hell to get in the trunk think hammers and removing half the cab). Anyway the system sounds GREAT when the back seats are left down thus opening the trunk to the rest of the cab. The problem comes when I have the seats up, sealing the trunk, the SPL seems to be halved.

Anyone found some tricks to let the bass out of the trunk in sedans?

Thanks !

James

porting thru the rear deck would be a great option. if you dont feel like cutting out your rear deck, remove your rear 6x9's and utalize your front stage
