Help Repairing my Sub

I've got a 12" Kappa Perfect (12.1). The rubber surround is detaching itself from the basket (between the mounting holes around the perimeter of the sub). What type of glue should I use to reattach it?. I will glue and clamp it, the basket is painted metal and the rubber surround is....you guessed it......rubber. There are a few construction adhesives that I'm familliar with (Bulldog Premium...etc) I know they'll hold anything. Any other crazy/super glues that you guys have used? This fix must have been done before, how else can it be done?

5 minute epoxy, it looks like 2 tubes in one. mix em together on some tin foil and apply were needed works excellent.

Some adhiesives will actually cause the speaker glue to loose its strength.
If the sub is comming apart you should really just get a new one, it will never be the same again.
If you want to fix it, try Shoe Goo, and go to Canadian tire and buy a bicycle tire iner tube, cut a piece out of it that will cover about an inch on either side of the tear. then apply it with glue to the back side of the sub (basket side) as well as actually repairing the tear. This will ad some stability to the glue and hold the seams together.

Its not the most orthidox way of doing it but if the speaker is torn anything you do is just putting a baind aid on a bullet hole, its a matter of time before it rips again, in which case its going to sound like crap, adding the rubber to the back should prolong the tear from opening back up but it won't help you win any comps

We've been using CA glue. It's what DD suggested and it works.

Thanks guys! Last night I used some Le-Page 5-minute appoxy as suggested by r1d1. Worked great. The rubber suround itself is in good condition it's just that the old adhesive was no longer holdong it to the perimeter of the basket. I had to go 2 days with nothing but 5.25's and 6x9's....man am I happy to get some low stuff back in my car. Yeah for you guys and thanks again for the help.
