A little input would be great.Does anybody now how to properly and effectivly test for a vehical speed sensor? I am currently installing the new Kenwood ddx7015 with the 4100nav peice into a 2002 jaguar s-type. the install went mint untill we tryed for the vss wire.Hooking this wire up to the nav is obviusly important.No one that ive talked to including north vancouver jaguar can tell me any acurate wiring colours and locations.
Also how to properly test the wire if found.
So I send out a bit of a challenge to all installers!

VSS wire in Jaguar is blue. In the S type it is at the instrument cluster I belive. You also might be able to find it at the cruise control servo.

I use a logic probe to test for VSS

if the car has auto sound leveling built into the radio u can grab it there. most cars now a days do.
