How to wire 2 6X9s to amp and head unit
Ok so I’m putting a radio and 2 6X9s on my motorcycle. I have 2 jb l gto 6x9 3 ways pioneer head unit and a 2 channel nvx vadm2 amp. My question is how do I wire it all up the proper way.
I ran the 6X9s into the amp and my rcas to the head unit and all I got was bass no mid or highs so I assumed I need to hook the 6X9s to the head unit also so I ran another wire from the x9s out to head unit but when I did I got all kind of crazy noises so I unhooked the positive wire from the speaker thats running to the head unit and it plays normal hi mid and low.
so now i have the x9S wired directly to the amp and only the extra ground wires on the x9s hooked to a single ground on one negative wire on the head unit and it plays fine. I can adjust the amp and get response on the speakers and from the head unit what is goin on and what did I do wrong.
Thanks In advance
