hey guys, i convinced myself to buy some headrest dvd players and now when im trying to get them in im stuck. Im hoping that someone out there has done this before and can help me. I got my headrests out and i can not figure out how to get the wires that are run through the headrests posts down through the back of my seats to the bottom. Is there a special way or tool that can be sued to "push" the cable down to the bottom of the seat. Once it is through, i shouldnt have a problem with the wiring, i just cant even get that far and i DONT want to ruin my seats. The only other option would be to buy the mounting brackets and i really dont like that look. Please help!

 

They generally don't go through the posts but down the side of them and then in through the same hole the plastic grommet the post comes out of. Flip the seat forward or back and undo it at the very bottom then slide your arm up inside it to grab the wire.
