Installing B-Quiet
When installing this or any similar product to the doors, do you cover the large access holes on the inner dood panel? I only ask because I've seen some installs were these large access holes are covered while other installs they are left open.
I believe it's best to cover said holes. If you can, put a piece of sheet metal/etc. over the hole (screw it in place) and then cover it with the deadener. The idea is to seal the door as best you can (as well as add as much mass as you can). Some doors are more seal friendly than others. My Regal doors had 2 moderate holes (besides the speaker hole); one was sealed easily enough, but one was 'connected' to the door handle area, which could only be sealed so well.
As well, check out the post by PEI330Ci (do a search). He did a door deadening post awhile ago which should help quite a bit. Cheers.

In that picture the person might not be using door speakers.. If thats the case then sealing them doesnt really matter.
If the holes are small you can just use the mat to cover/seal them up. But if there big its best to cover them with something first.
For example my doors.

The really big opening on the right side i covered with a piece of aluminum..

The rest of the holes (1-2") i just covered with mat.
