Kenwood Mono amp?

Kenwood Mono amp?

I just pruchased a mono kenwood amp 100watt total and 2 ohm stable i think now i have two + channels and two - channels, heres the question i have two shallow mount pioneer 10 4 ohm svc and want to run them in parallel to get a 2 ohm load for the amp, how do i wire them to the amp, will attaching one sub+ to amp+ and the other sub + to the other amp + and do the same way with the - give me parallel or series? thanks in advance

If I understand what you are saying.

The kenwood amp has 2 + and 2 -.

Your running your subs in a paralle, to get a 2ohm load.

The amp is a mono, but has 2 + and 2 -.

Both termanals are the same, basically pick a + and a -.

That is the same as my Kenwood KAC-9102D mono amp.

yeah so the two speaker connections are just to ease install maybe?
i could run 1 sub off one set and the other of the other set and if they are the same it should be parallel correct

i just confused on the wiring itself, i will run a wire from the + to the last sub and than splice the first sub into that + wire and same thing for the - or am i just making more complicated

You are making everything much more complacated. The amp puts out 2ohms. So just wire both your subs into a parallel ( like the pic shown above ) and wire it to the amp. Basically, just pick a + and - to wire it up.

Actually the termnals are like that so you don't have to mess with anything.

one sub's + goes to 1 + on the amp and that sub's - goes to the - on the amp, and same for the other sub, that will give you a 2 ohm load. Many mono amps are set that way so you don't have to physically connect the subs ternimals to each other.
