i just noticed in one of my pics that the light ontop of my 1200.1 does not come on.. it still plays (loud i might add) but i don't get the night time effect that i want with only having one light lit (running two kicker amps, one light works, this one doesn't)

is there any way to fix it?
thanks

Probably take it to a repair shop, and they will replace your burnt out LED.

LEDs don't burn out, at least not in their concievable lifetime. more likely a broken/cracked solder joint.

Hey
LED's burn out fast when run at higher current.
Brighter LED = more current => shorter life span.

Change the LED to a different color, if you are going with a color scheme. Don't stick with the boring RED. I've seen some 1200.1's with blue, green, yellow. Just something more interesting. I know I will fabricate a blue LED onto my 1200.1 soon.

FYI, blue LEDs are really expensive compared to any other colour. usually 5-10 times the price.
