LPL for Phoenix Gold 1200.1

I just picked up a PG Xenon 1200.1, and I have a PPI LPL that connects via telephone cable. I was wondering if that would work for my Phoenix Gold amp? I have plugged it in and tried it out, and it didn't do anything, so I am wondering if there is a setting I have to adjust on the amp, or if it's the actual incompatibility with the amp.

Thank you

I've found with most amps the bass cables are incompatible. each amp takes a different signal or in the case of digital ***** its a complete different story.
