My Stereo Wont Remember Any Settings at all

Hello guys, basically my car stereo won't save its settings so every time i turn off the car and start it all my eq settings are gone. I wired in to my 98 supra mk4 as the instructions state so i am not sure if this aftermartket head unit is at fault. Looking online, i have seen this car audio install website say that i you make adjustment to the wiring this will fix the problem. I want your opinons before i rip anything apart since i don't want to go through all that if it wont make a difference.

So car audio experts what do you think is the problem hear?

A quick and passing though that comes to mind is possibly that the accessory wire is perhaps connected to the wrong wire?

Usually the connection from accessory supplies a constant voltage to the deck which allows it to keep its internal settings even after you turn the car off.

It may be worth your while(if you haven't already done this) getting the stock harness wiring layout(in color would be helpful) and matching it up to the harness for the deck that you're having the issue with.

It's normally a yellow wire btw... But it may be a different color based on your specific harness/vehicle.
