if i think your talking about installers that rip your stuff off later, thats nothing new. its a easy way for them to get equipment. back in the day i`ve had friends that bought hot stuff, then they`ve had it ripped off short after. coensidence? or maybe poetic justice.....

The problem is you get people nominating other installers just to tarnish their name.

Does anyone other than Prolifik really beleve that every futureshop installer is a hack?

no no i mean a serious serious list. not every big box installer is a hack, there are alot of them there but its mostly cause they are green and have no real idea that they are doing or went to mobile dynamics but i mean like exposing the guys that are real hacks that do nothing but butcher peoples cars and ruin businesses and just all around in general make everyones jobs a little harder at times.

Be careful here.., it may bring on a liable suit.
There are a lot of "backyard" installers out there that do shameful work, that we have to repair. Keep in mind that not everyone can afford to go to installer school, or college, or university, and all of us here started doing this type of work privatly, we were just better "hacks".
Hopefully they will realize that there is more to the term "installation integrity" than meets the eye, and some of these guys will climb up to the level that some of you are at.., someday.
so, instead of naming the scoundrels, take pics of their work and use it as your sales tools, like you should. And create a web site to upload the pics.

I'm not sure though about badmouthing others to make you look better. IMO that looks unprofessional for a shop to do so. If the customer brings it up and you agree, that's one thing. But to just start trashing others without provacation seems kinda cheezy.

I like to know who the hacks are though. I like to see pics of their destruction too just as much I like to see pics of excellent work
