it's sad that people have to boost their ego's by bashing box stores, granted their are a lot of hacks in box stores but i have seen a lot of crap come in from the so called HIGH END SHOPS. I work in a box store and have seen some of the nicest demo cars come from the shop that i work in.... just watch who you point fingers at.

I agree completely JRSTAR. I'd rather have unraveled a plate of spaghetti, than re-do some of the work that came my way from both high-end and box-stores.
Something else to keep in mind, and that is not always the installer's fault. The fact that the customer doesn't want to pay much of anything for the alarm "installed", compounded with the fact that the boss wants as many installs done in a day as possible, adds to the shortcuts an installer(experienced or not) will have to take, when installing something, and compromise the integrity of the install.

i still say that a hack site is a bad idea! as long as u and your customers know u are good the rest will follow suit!
