need help tracking down a Metra part (99-7897)

Hi guys, first post here.

I've got an '03 Civic LX and I'm looking for the Metra bezel 99-7897. It's the one that lets you keep the factory pocket. Nobody has it here in Saskatoon, SK. One of the shops even said "there's no such thing" , even though it's on Metra's website.

Does anybody know if this part is in your area? If so, I'll order it from them.

I'm itching to get my new JVC KD-AVX44 installed.

Thanks.

Stillwater is right.
Due to the size of that deck, that kit wont work.
That kit is designed to ISO mount a deck with a "standard" sized face.
Anything with an "oversized" face wont work.
I do like the idea of keeping the stock pocket though.

Chances are there isnt going to be a price difference from one kit to another.
Kits at the big box stores usually run ~$30

Thanks for the replies guys.

Would Metra: 99-7899, or American International: HON-K809 work?

Is the AVX44 still considered a single DIN size even though the face is bigger?

Again, thanks for the info.

those kits are probably the better ones to get.
JUst get the one that replaces the pocket all together.

The DIN is the size of the radio's chassis not including the size of the face plate.
We have a deck at work(fs) the Ultimate, the faceplate is so large that it really doesnt fit any dash kits with a recessed DIN opening without having to space it out.
Not to mention its like $169 for a video deck, everyone and their brother's seem to want one where we are.
