I have purchased the following:
Deck: Kenwood KDC-MP925 - 4x22 RMS
Component: Kenwood KFC-XR601 - 2-45 RMS
Amp: MTX 502 2 channel - 2 Ohm Load 180 w x 2 RMS
4 Ohm Load 90 w x 2 RMS
Bridged 4 Ohm Load 360 w RMS
Planned Sub to buy: MTX Thunder8512 - 250-500 RMS
Do 12" offer much more over the 10"?
!Need help!
1.Can I run the sub correctly w/ my 2-channel amp if sub has DVC? If so, how? I can still get SVC but DVC is a lot easier to find on eBay.
2.Should I purchase a mono amp for the sub and use the 2-channel for the components?
3.Can I power my sub and components with the amp and still provide enough power to sound good?
3.Will my deck provide enough power for the components?
4.How do you use 2 amps? Would my car (1994 Grand Cherokee) handle 2 amps?
Car audio is kinda new to me so I don't know much.

That amp would prolly be better to run some front components, but you can try it.
The thing is, You want to bridge the amp to get the power from it so wether you get svc or dvc you need to wind up with a 4 ohm final load.
sowhat im sayin is if you choose to get a "mono" sub amp after buyin a sub to fit this amp you'll prolly have to buy another sub cause most "mono"amps perform best at 1 and 2 ohms depending on the amp.
So if you wanna run a sub off that amp get a svc 4 ohm sub or a dvc 2+2.
To answer youre Q on the 12 over 10... If its the same brand and model, yes you will get more output out of the 12.
Hope this helped some....
