NEW BEE CAN'T GET SOUND

WELL I JUST STUMBLED ONTO YOUR SITE AND FOUND IT TO BE QUITE INFORMATIVE. ANYHOW I HAVE A 91 FORD EXPLORER AND I RECENTLY CHANGED OUT THE STOCK CD PLAYER WITH A PIONEER DEH-1600. FOR THE INSTALL I BOUGHT A WIRE HARNESS FROM EBAY AND I BELIEVE THAT I CONNECTED EVERYTHING RIGHT YET THE UNIT WILL NOT PRODUCE ANY SOUND(ONLY POWERS UP) SEEMS TO BE PLAYING BUT CAN'T HEAR A TWEET. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME I YOULD REALLY APRECIATE ANY HELP.

FIRST OF ALL, TURN OFF YOUR CAPS LOCK!
did you hook up the amp turn on lead? (blue wire on each harness). There is a factory amp in that truck that will stop sound unless powered up.

Hi mr. pickles and sorry about the caps thing in any case thank you for the info I have found the amp and bypassed it so that the speakers use the pioneer amp instead. Thanks alot and I have a new question now for you or anyone that may know the answer: My pioneer DEH-1600 has all of its buttons pink and I saw the same model at a Wal-Mart but with green buttons is there a way of changing the color any info greatly app. thanks again
