no more constant current

hey guys, i was installing a radio in my car, plugged in each wire, and at last i found out there was no more constant current ! i have current on acc when i turn the key, but no constant. there was a constant current before i installed it, i tested them. i have a hyundai tiburon 2001, is there a fuse related to this ? maybe it blew , because as i didn't have a dimmer wire, i plugged the constant on the dimmer wire of my radio ! maybe it was too much ? please help me !

Why would you think that would work? Are you not using a wiring harness? Why not?

The dimmer wire has variable voltage on it - that's how it dims the lights. If it has voltage when the park lights are off it will have none or variable voltage when they are on and vice versa.

If you have no voltage on it at all now, yes you probably popped a fuse and you likely have no dash lights either..

won't be an issue at all. Just means the deck wont dim at night when you turn the lights on.

put a crimp cap on the end of the wire or some electrical tape. You will want to have this wire protected, especially if it is possible it can ground out somewhere once the deck is back in place.
