Is it ok to install an amp in parts?
Hi, I'm planning to install my amp for the most part today. What I mean is I am installing power, ground, turn on lead, and rca cables but I plan to leave the speaker cables in my door unconnected to any speakers. I'm doing this cause I plan to install the new speakers tomorrow. I only have enough time tomorrow to install the speakers, so I figured I'd do the amp today, speakers tomorrow. Is it ok to install most of the amp but leave the speaker wires connected to nothing? I am running my factory speakers off the head unit until I can install the new ones.
Before you ask, I'm not installing the speakers first because I have to cut holes in the doors and can't get the proper tools for it until tomorrow. Also, I do not have time to install anything during the week.

yea, its fine, just dont hook up ur speaker wires to ur amp, and if u do just make sure u tape up any loose connections(ends of wires, or little connector thingamajigs)...and if ur really concerned about it just unhook ur remote turn on, then the amp wont turn on.
