installing this is my truck and have a question about brake bypass. watched some vid`s on how to do this but some say you need a relay, some don`t. now can i get away with this by hooking up the green wire on the grounds between the adapter harness and the deck harness or does it have to ground to the chassis and between the harness? whats the best method? thanx in advance.

I suggest you put a switch in, it's actually illegal in most places to not have it hooked upto the handbreak

going 10k over the speed limit is illegal, and millions of people break that law every day. my question is can this be done without a relay or switch? to be honest, not really interested in watching while i`m driving i just want to install this as easy as possible.

i used to just wire the handbreak wire in with the earth of the headunit/screen/deck in the demo board at work.... not too sure about the newer model pioneers tho. also being such a newish car it's prob worth testing it first on a test bench. (just to make sure it will work) apart from that i cant give you an answer soz

installed it today. hooked up the green wire between the grounds in the harness, pushed the screen in the bottom left hand corner for around 15 seconds and it unlocked. easy peasy.
