Port Length.. help quick

Im running two 12" alpine type r's with an audison amp thats putting 180rms to each in a 32x12x14 box with four 3" ports... what length should my tubes be?

well with that small of a box, it works out to 2.56 internal cubes, I would suggest taking it down to just two 3" ports and make them 11.5" long each, should give you a tuning frequency of 33hz, and should give you the deep bass that you are lookin for and should hit pretty hard. but to do that with 4 ports they would have to be insanely long ( 25") to give you that tuning frequency. unless you get a bigger box it looks like you are going to have to use only two ports

which two ports should i keep open.. the two in the back or the two in the front... there right together with like no spacing hardly between em... plus any suggestion for what to cover up other ports with?

Which way are the subs facing? toward the inside of the car or toward the tunk, which side are the subs on, i would say keep ports on the same side as the subs and lose the other ones. Also when you take out the two ports just cover them with some 3/4" mdf you should be fine [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img]
