I would open it up and blow the fan with a can of air. May be dirty.

if its not dirty the bearings have gotten to hot and the fan is starting to seize. I had a powerbass asa 1000 and it was loud to from brand new. If you do open it up I am sure you could change yourself, just go to local computer shop with the old fan and they will have something to replace it with i am sure of it. Prob be 4 screws holding the fan in and plug, plugging it into the board for power.

do it yourself, changing a fan is simple,, like above said, go to your pc shop with the fan, get a new one and change it, you may have to cut the wires if its not a plug, if thats the case just match up the colors

the ones in your amp will most likley be red/black, on most pc fans there red/white/black or yellow/white/black, treat the yellow as red and cut off the white one, treat the blacks the same
