Well I guess that was pretty much the same info they had (I presume from the dei site) and at least one wire is not actually there.
This is an '05 Prius where the transponder fits into a slot on the dash and then you press a button to fire up the electrical system. The combustion engine doesn't come on until some sort of load is presented.
So all you installers out there be aware and if anyone finds a solution please share.

Does anybody know how companies like DEI and such get their wiring information so soon after a new model is released? Do they somehow get the first one available in whatever city and tear it apart to find out how the wiring works? Or do they have manufacturer-supplied information on the wiring when the car is released? Always been curious about that.
