Take off my A pillers to see what I can do to them.....since There's an airbag logo on both of them...(side curtain airbags)....anybody ever encounter this?

Maybe I can take them off without harming anything?

 

i'm not a pro, but just to be safe i would say take out the fuses just so to make sure they don't go off in your face

 

that means there are airbags there I wouldn't recommend installing anything on the pillars because they'll end up in the side of your head upon deployment of the air bags!

 

yet every year people pee on electric fences

 

it really depends on the car, I have speake pods on the A-pillars of my beetle and I watched as many crash test videos as could to see how the a-pillars rect in and accident. The bettle pushes them towards the windshield so it shouldn't make any difference in a collision. Most cars, the pillars are screwed onto the car right where that "airbg" symbol is..it's usually a crew cap and some airbags exit downward, those are the one's you do not want to play with as far as adding speaker pods go.

Take out the air bags and no worries
