quality stereo rca cable with short connectors?

i'm looking for a nice rca cable to connect an alpine dva-9861 to a jl 250/1 and 300/4....but unfortunately there isn't a lot of room between the back of the deck and the heating ducts in side the dash.

i've actually got some belden lc-1 with canare RCAP connectors right now but the connectors are too big and won't fit....and now i'm stuck scrambling to find something else. cost isn't really an issue..

any suggestions?

Lightbulb

Streetwires and Monster have both had cables with short ends - whether either still does, I don't know. Tsunami has some cables with short ends too.

How about right angle adaptors or cables with right angle ends?

hi dukk,

the back panel of the alpine dva-9861 i'm using has 3 sets of outputs stacked vertically on top of each other and as such the right angle adapters would work fine for the lowest pair (the sub out), but using adapters on the front & rear outputs wouldn't work because they'd want/need to physically overlap with the output below them (front->rear and rear->sub)

NICE this is what i've been looking for....a brand of which i can pursue....ironically enough i've already been pigeon-holing the monster cables...jl seems to have reasonably short connectors as well... haven't seen the streetwires stuff yet

my alpine had the same problem and short connectors weren't short enough.
I used right angled adaptors. Bottom 2 go down, middle goes out to the sides and top 2 face up. It fits. And they can't fall out because the duct and dash are amlost touching.

if you have to cut the air ducts and rework it and then repair the ducts
why did you go with thatr deck ?

i went with that deck for a few reasons:

-decent price
-it plays dvds...and dvdr/rw
-it has 3 preouts
-it has 4v preout
-nice looking, but not tacky
-rotary volume ****

not exactly the quickest timeframe from the time of my post to the time of getting the new cables in the truck but:

i ended up ordering the monsters and they fit wonderfully...

although i only have first impressions due to time constraints (heading back to work, and it's not my vehicle), but the system sounds great: sparkly top end but not fatiguing and ample bass quantity, taughtness and extension....i'm happy because i didn't seem to have to adjust controls to make each song sound decent....

a few rattles to take care of though...

thanks for all of your input, much appreciated.
