Quick Sirius Interconnect question

Moving my old Pioneers to sons car.
Bought this:

Have a Starmate Plug & Play with included "vehicle kit", so its already hooked up with the mount, dock, and receiver stuck into the dock, FM going into aux on Pioneer. Powered by cig plug but that will disapear on his car because this box includes a power/fuse/filter line as well.

My question is, can I use the exising cable that plugs into the dock (which I already have obviously) in the "TO SIRIUS" location? Looks like a standard 9 pin DIN, but I dont have the damn thing in front of me, and I recall a similar cable SOMEWHERE in the existing install I think.

I understand the hookup, looks dead simple, but what I DONT want to do is go buy a vehicle kit just for that cable, especially if I dont need it. I think I can use the existing cable, but I dont have the car here to check right this moment. Like, a hundred bucks just for this box was bad enough.

Thanks!

John

Wonder if this would survive mounted on the firewall if I sealed it?
