I have glassed the matting over the fleece
doood - glass on the BACK of the fleece. Then you void all this fill work.
Anyway - yeah Rage is a body filler and you can certainly use just it.
but
Whys not just sand your layers of glass all smooth and avoid about 99% of the filler? I am sanding my stretch right now and so far it has zero filler and is pretty much ready for primer [img]graemlins/dunno.gif[/img]

Well this is my first attempt with fleece.
I found stretching the fleece with the fewest seams possible was very hard.
I glassed in several stages and ended up used a gallon and a half on the fleece alone inside and out. The fleece was still bending slightly on the large front and back flat surfaces, so I decided to mat on the outside for strength and thickness.
How many layers of mat do you guys usually add?

never mat over your fleece, lots of work. i always mix the rage in with my resin, then apply to the fleece. this gives you a easily sandable surface that is easy to get smooth. if the stretch is for a subwoofer, 1/2 inch thick minimum without bubbles or gaps
