Okay, here's the situation. I just bought a new 15" RE SX dual 2 ohm and a Hifonics BX1500D.(after selling my new Phoenix Gold Zenons and BX1205D)I will be installing the sub in the hatch of an 88' GT Cobra. I want to build a box that will make use of the spare tire well and not take up the whole back, as I also have a nitrous bottle back there. But I do want a proper sized ported box. Has anyone built a box for a hatch that used the spare tire well and had maybe a false floor or something that left useable space? And does anyone have specs for box sizes on this sub, as i'm still waiting for that info, and its not on their website. Sorry for the long post, but thanks guys! [img]graemlins/freak.gif[/img]

 

i would say start the build then calculate as u go along . Then build the box as big as u can and add your port area. I would say 2.5 cubes if u got the room
