I'm looking for speaker recommendations for my 2005 Echo hatchback. It comes from the factory with 4" speakers in the dash, and 6.5" speakers in the doors. Unfortunately, the doors are quite shallow and there isn't enough clearance for many aftermarket 6.5's.

There are no rear speakers, nor I do not intend to add any. I am planning to add a sub down the road.

My priorities are musicality and sound quality. Initially I will be running the new speakers using deck power (Eclipse 3424).

I've looked at the JL Audio TR series and Boston Acoustics FX series, for budgetary and mounting depth reasons, but am open to other suggestions. What do you guys think? Which speakers would work well for me?
