I wanted to add to this aswell...

Alot of Amps will use there built in protection to monitor voltage on the remote lead - to kick the amp into protect when it drops to low..

On both the Visonik 4000 and Memphis switching to a relay and 12 gauge wire from the Distro block through the relay and to the Remote on the amp made a difference of night and day.. my memphis no longer jumps into protection and i was able up a bit on the gain..

If i only knew this at the beginning of this season i would have done better.
