series or parallel

series or parallel

I have an audison srx3 and i'm running a dvc 2ohm jl 10w3 should i be running series or parallel?

Actually no. It should be wired in series. if wired in parallel, there would be a 1 ohm load on the amp, and from what I remember the SRX3 is only 2 ohm stable...

if wired in series you would have a 4 ohm load on the amp, and the SRX 3 puts out 250w at 4 ohm. it's a 3 ch amp, do you have components, or any other speakers running of this amp?

yes dls ur6 component set which reminds me one of mids has no sound what could be the problem?

is it just the mid? the tweeter produces sound? if the tweeter produces sound, then I'd check the wire connection at the crossover, and then behind the HU (deck) and if they are connected as they should be, then there might be a break in the wire(s) or possible the mid is blown.. could be a number oif things.

yes, run it series for a 4 ohm load, the amp is only 2 ohm stable
