shallow mounts?

hey just wondering if anyones put 10" shallow mount subs in the rear side panles of a 2 dr civic.. i was thinkin about it and thinkin of makin custom enclosures to fit where the panels are.. and if possible putting a set of coaxials alond side them but seal them from eachotherso the sub isn't pushing the speaker aswell.. would this work?

any opinions would be greatly appreciated thnx

there would be enough room to use full sized subs? i wouldnt know cuz i've never torn apart the back of a 2 dr civic.. did an install on my own in a 4 door though.. and fibreglass really cant be that hard to work with can it? i mean just like make a base using mdf and make mounts using scrap mdf (or cut out aluminum rings) and stretch a fabric over it then use a brush and do a couple coats of fibreglass.. am i right?

haha yea.. just the trick would be fastening the MDF to the rear side panel next to the seats and getting it to support the weight of a full size sub..

well hopefully i can get this all pulled together but i dont even have the car yet.. so i've still got tonnes of time to get ideas goin on this probably gonna go with a nice 3-way set up front some 6.5 coaxils and the subs in the rear panels. if i get some time i'll draw something up and post it up on here and see what you guys think
