Well, I did an incredibly ghetto install in my Jetta years ago, so I think I will splurge on the real terminals for this one!

Bought a couple of those terminals in the spring to put on but I've been too lazy. Don't want to reset all the presets, crossovers, slopes, output level, phases, time alignment, auto eq, compression circuit, digital bass circuit, 13 band eq, SLA, etc......
Man, I love my P1!!

get a 12v battery, like a drill battery or anything, wire it up to a male cigarette lighter plug, and plug it in.

Yes that is what I did when I put a new batt in last year!
