Hey,
New member here looking for some advice.
Truck is a 2018 Silverado crew cab non bose.
I've purchased new Kicker CS series door speakers from Crutchfield. 6x9 3 ways in the front doors, and 6 3/4 coaxial in the rear doors.
Since I wanted to keep this as simple as possible, I got a GM Accessories Kicker subwoofer with a separate amp for the door speakers. 200 watt subwoofer, 200 watt amp for door speakers. Allegedly it's plug and play, we'll see.
Im pretty much a novice when it comes to tearing into something like this but I'm not scared to.
A few questions...
What about sound deadening? I'm not taking the carpet out or the back seat so should I do the doors? How does it need to be done? I'm not looking to spend much on this stuff either so what's the best bang for the buck?
What order should I install all this ? Speakers first then the sub? Does it even matter?
Anything else I'm missing?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
