I got a Clarion VRX755VD with the Sirius antenna and it keeps of cutting out on me. It will work for a few minutes perfectly then cut out and work at all for a while. The next time I get in my vehicle it will work again. It cuts in and out randomly. I'm almost positive that it isn't a signal issue because there is nothing to block the signal. I'm not sure if this matters but it is a US subscription.

I would say just check your antenna connection, that is the only problems I have heard about ever happening

I know there has been a repeter problem here in Winnipeg that has been reported. Where the terestrial signal overrides the sat signal.
I'm not sure if that is partly what you are expieriencing or not.

My sirius radio is going back to the store....the SQ sucks.

I think it might be due to ice build up on the antenna now that I think about it. We've had a lot of freezing rain these last few days. I'll take a look at it tomorrow.

Its possible that the ice is obstructing the signal enough to cause the problem, I havent experienced any issues here in alberta because we have had nothing but mild weather to say the least. I know that that in the past with lots of snow and stuff on the roof of my truck, I still had awsome reception, thaw it out and see if that will help

Really? Is it one of the cheap tuners or is it a fault of the Sirius system altogether?

As far as I am concerned they need to lose some of the fringe channels and increase the bandwidth alotted to the remaining ones. FM + MP3= no need for sirius in my car.
